1. Pharmacology
This product can reduce the content of cholesterol and triglyceride in the blood of rats with experimental hyperlipidemia. It has obvious anti-inflammatory effect on rats with acute, subacute and chronic inflammation caused by xylene egg white paw swelling, carrageenan, formaldehyde, etc., and has obvious analgesic effect on electrical stimulation and writhing response mouse models. This product can promote the generation of mouse hemolysin antibody induced by chicken red blood cells and enhance the transformation rate of lymphocytes in mice stimulated by PHA.
2. Toxicology
The acute toxicity test in mice shows that the maximum tolerated dose of propolis tablets is 17.6g/kg. The results of the long-term toxicity test in rats showed that propolis tablets had no abnormal phenomena on body weight, diet, coat color, skin, stool, and exercise status, and had no obvious effect on organ coefficients, blood images, and blood biochemical indicators; the results of histopathological examination showed that : Propolis sheet has no toxic damage to real organs (heart, liver, kidney, brain, etc.), and does not cause other organ lesions.
